ELECTRONICS POLICY OF DPSHMUN’17:

  1. Each delegate is allowed to bring one laptop ONLY to the conference.
  2. Mobile phones, tablets, iPads, etc are strictly banned in the conference.
  3. The use of cameras inside the conference is strictly prohibited.
  4. Delegates would not be allowed to access the internet both in and out of committee sessions. Delegates cannot use internet inside the school premises.
  5. Laptops are to be brought at the own risk of the delegates. Neither the Secretariat nor Delhi Public School, Hyderabad would be responsible for any kind of damage to / loss of the laptop.
  6. Laptops shall be used only during the committee sessions and shall be used for work regarding the MUN ONLY.
  7. The Secretariat and Delhi Public School, Hyderabad reserve the rights to confiscate any unauthorized electronic devices which are brought to the conference.
Violation  of any of the above rules shall be dealt with very seriously and may result in expulsion from the conference.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR DPSHMUN’17:

    1. All delegates shall maintain decorum at all in the conference.
    2. Delegates are required to be polite and give respect to their fellow delegates. Quarrels and other such disputes are not encouraged in the conference and shall be dealt with seriously.
    3. The delegates are obligated to follow any instructions given by the members of the Organizing Committee, Executive Board, Secretariat and the Staff.
    4. Delegates are required to stay within the area prescribed for the MUN and will not be allowed to go astray.
DRESS CODE:
Male Dress Guidelines:

  1. Must be formally dressed in shirts (collared) and pants/trousers. Jeans, t-shirts,shorts etc. are not permitted.
  2. Formal shoes must be worn to the conference.
  3. Full sleeve shirts have to be worn by the delegates.
  4. Blazers and ties are not mandatory but are recommended.

Female Dress Guidelines:

  1. The attire must be formal. Jeans, leggings, etc are strictly banned from the conference.
  2. Sleeveless dresses are strictly prohibited.
  3. Knee length skirts/dresses are allowed inside the conference.
  4. Stocking is optional but recommended.
  5. Cycling shorts are compulsory.
  6. Blazers are not mandatory but are recommended.
  7. No sleeveless can be worn under the blazer.
  8. Pencil heels are not allowed. Only wedges or flats are allowed into the conference .
THE ABOVE DRESS GUIDELINES ARE MANDATORY ACCORDING TO THE SCHOOL RULES AND THE SECRETARIAT IS BOUND TO ENFORCE THESE RULES. THE SECRETARIAT OF DPSHMUN’17 AND DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, HYDERABAD RESERVE FULL RIGHTS TO REVOKE THE ALLOCATION OF THE DELEGATE AND RUSTICATE THEM FROM THE CONFERENCE IF THEY ARE FOUND IN VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES.
